I am a sculptor and furniture maker and my work is playful and varied. My inspiration comes mostly from the natural world, and many pieces I make rely on nature playing its part: my work grows, dies, melts or moves in the wind.

The environment in which my work will be placed and its intended purpose greatly influences the piece I then go on to make. I work with a wide variety of materials including snow, ice, willow, water, steel, wood and grass to make both permanent and temporary sculpture.

Much of my work has an educational and/or functional aspect to it and I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for looking, responding and making, through community projects and workshops.
